God Is Not Dead with Amit Goswami – Host Dr. Zohara Hieronimus
Thursday Jun 24, 2021
Thursday Jun 24, 2021
A highly regarded nuclear physicist enters the debate about the existence of God--and comes down on the side of the angels. Goswami's hypothesis is that quantum physics holds the key to all the unsolved mysteries of biology--the nature and origin of life, fossil gaps of evolution, why evolution proceeds from simple to complex, and why biological beings have feelings and consciousness. In God is Not Dead, Goswami moves beyond theory and shows how a God-based science puts ethics and values where it belongs: at the center of our lives and societies. He provides a scientific model that steers between scientific materialism and religious fundamentalism; a model that has implications for how we live both individually and collectively. God is Not Dead is a fascinating tour of quantum physics, consciousness, and the existence and experience of God.

...but not good enough for you with Charlie Robinson - Host Mark Eddy
Wednesday Jun 23, 2021
Wednesday Jun 23, 2021
Historian and author CHARLIE ROBINSON makes his debut to discuss his co-authored book "The Controlled Demolition of the American Empire." The last 16 months have been horrible. There were the masks, lockdowns, bad science, social distancing, catchy slogans like "shots in arms," "stay home and save a life." What about the contradictory rules for me but you're exempt. What sense did it make to shut down churches, but strip clubs can remain open? Can all of the radical cultural changes in the last year be attributed to the bungled understanding of the science, or are they related to a bigger plan? If the latter, who is behind it, and what is their agenda? How long have they been planning for this opportunity? Why is America in the crosshairs? How have we been missing the red flags? Charlie provides insights that we need to comprehend.

Annapolis GHOSTS with Ed Okonowicz - host Dr. Zohara Hieronimus
Friday Jun 18, 2021
Friday Jun 18, 2021
This Annapolis book has two sections: one focusing on Ghost Stories and the other on History and Mystery. The spooky portion includes such tales as the ghost of the Maryland State House, a haunted horse along Main Street, headless men, haunted historic mansions, apparitions at St. John s College, a ghostly gravedigger, buried haunted treasure, tales of Governors Bridge (sort of a Cry Baby Bridge and Hookman urban legend site), an unsettling morgue incident and more. The historical section features tales of murder, lost gravesites, the long journey of Admiral John Paul Jones corpse, a town riot and ship burning, a mob lynching, a long-forgotten Civil War campsite and a section on witches in the state of Maryland. Readers of the book "Baltimore GHOSTS: History, Mystery, Legends and Lore" will find this a good book to add to their collections.

The End of Eden with Graham Phillips - Host Dr. Zohara Hieronimus
Friday Jun 18, 2021
Friday Jun 18, 2021
In the year 2024, the comet 12P/Pons-Brooks is due to pass near Earth again for the first time in 3,500 years. In 1500 B.C., Earth passed through this comet’s tail, and in the decade following, cultures the world over began to exhibit significant aggressive tendencies. Civilizations in India, the Middle East, China, Japan, Europe, and Central America suddenly abandoned their peaceful ways and devoted themselves with uncharacteristic fervor to making war on their neighbors and fighting among themselves.
But this was not the only effect that is linked to this celestial event. Sudden outbreaks of monotheism--the worship of a single god, and a new idea at the time--occurred simultaneously in locales spread widely throughout the world. Most of these monotheistic religions represented their god symbolically as a circle with a series of lines extending below--resembling a simple drawing of a comet.
In The End of Eden, Graham Phillips chronicles the sudden shifts in social demeanor and religious philosophy that swept the world in the wake of 12P/Pons-Brooks. He argues that there is no other explanation for these changes other than the presence of this massive comet in the skies above Earth. He contends that debris in the comet’s tail contaminated the atmosphere with a chemical known to cause aggressive behavior, and that after little more than a decade, worldwide hostility abruptly abated. He also explores how the appearance of a celestial body that outshone the moon would have been interpreted as a significant religious event--the premier appearance of a powerful new god to supplant the deities previously worshipped around the world.

Secrets of the Druids with Teresa Cross - Host Robert Hieronimus
Thursday Jun 17, 2021
Thursday Jun 17, 2021
Druids and their magic, lore, and rituals have fascinated all those who encounter them, from the ancient Greeks and Romans onward. Even today, the mere mention of their name evokes pictures of standing stones, mistletoe, golden sickles, white-robed priests, and powerful sorcerers. But were they really as we picture them?
Drawing on comparative mythology and linguistics, archaeological evidence, and etymology, Teresa Cross offers readers a comprehensive course in the history and development of the Celtic spiritual tradition and its lore, reconstructing the Druidic faith from the remnants that have survived and dedicated study of scholarly sources. She also reveals parallels with other Indo-European traditions, such as the similarities between Celtic and Vedic Hindu beliefs and practices. She chronicles the ethics and spiritual teachings of Druidism and the Celtic faith and examines what happened to these beliefs during centuries of Christianization.
Moving from history to practice, Cross details magical rites and ceremonies as practiced by modern-day followers of Druidactos. She explores the structure of the Touta, which roughly corresponds to “tribe,” methods for consecrating a nemeton, the outdoor temple that offers the optimum sacred space for the meeting of heaven and earth, and the rites and customs associated with important festivals such as Beltaine and Samhain. She also explores the rules of firecraft, the sacred art of giving to the cosmos, making offerings to deities and spirits, sacred food and beverages, and the ancient Coligny calendar, including the names of the months in old Gaulish.
Offering an authentic handbook for starting your own Celtic group led by Druids, Cross reveals the meanings and metaphysics behind the Celtic and Druidic customs and traditions, reuniting the fragmentary remains of long-lost Druid culture with the still-living practices of the Celtic faith.

Do You See What I See? with Russell Targ - Host Dr. Zohara Hieronimus
Saturday Jun 12, 2021
Saturday Jun 12, 2021
Now in paper, a droll memoir by a world-class physicist that includes recollections of his involvement with pioneering laser research, encounters with many of the most recognizable literary, cultural, and entertainment figures of the 20th century, and his role in teaching ESP techniques to the CIA.
Russell Targ is a Zelig-like character. His story is an idiosyncratic journey through the highways and byways of American intellectual, scientific, and cultural life in the 20th century. Along the way he has rubbed elbows with Ayn Rand, Alan Greenspan, Alan and Arlene Alda, Bobby Fischer, and Sally Rand. He was a pioneer in laser research and spent many years developing airborne laser wind sensors for Lockheed and NASA. In addition, he co-founded the Stanford Research Institute remove viewing program--which was funded by the CIA--and was instrumental in tracking Soviet and Chinese weapon installations during the Cold War. And to round it out, he is a legally blind motorcyclist--who happens to be a Buddhist.
This is a fascinating memoir by a first-class intellect; the story of a physicist who has pushed the boundaries of science to explore the realms of parapsychology, spirituality, and the unexplained.
Russell Targ is currently "retired" and enjoys motorcycling in the Silcon Valley (even though he is legally blind) and studying Dzogchen Buddhism.
